Essie Magnetic Nail Polish in Sssssexy

Hey, guys! Today I have on Essie magnetic nail polish in Sssssexy which is supposed to resemble snakeskin. I feel like a bit of a hypocrite because I originally hated the idea of magnetic polishes and swore I would never try them.Oops. Never say never, people!!
So the way this works is first you apply one coat to each nail like regular polish. The formula is very rich and silky, but not hard to apply. For the second coat, you stop after each nail and hold the magnetic cap over the nail, getting as close as you can without touching the nail. I've found that in order to get the cleanest design you need to hold the magnet perfectly still. The mistake I made at first was turning my nail and wrapping the magnet around it which actually blurred the design. I actually really like it! Have you guys tried any magnetic polishes? What are your thoughts?

Nails Inc. Cornwall Feathers Polish and Sinful Shine Most Sinful

Hey, guys! Today I am wearing 2 new polishes. As a base I used Sinful Shine in the color Most Sinful. It's from the new gel-like line of nail polish from Sinful Colors which they claim is 5x more glossy than a patent leather shoe (cue eyeroll, haha). The formula is definitely gel like- it's watery yet thick when you apply, but dries in a very thin layer. As I was applying I saw the polish shrink away from the edge of my nail and I was scared there might be a problem, but thankfully it dried just fine. I only needed one layer for opaque coverage and while the polish is fairly shiny without a top coat, I'm not sure that their ridiculous claim holds.
I applied 2 coats of the Nails Inc. Feathers polish in Cornwall on top. This polish is a clear base packed with white and blue bar glitter. I kind of regret using these two polishes together because you can't see the blue glitter- it's exactly the same color as the polish! My bad. Overall I really like how it turned out. It reminds me of the black and white static that used to come on the tv screens back in the day! :)

China Glaze It's A Trap-eze!

Hey, guys! Today I am wearing It's A Trap-eze! from the China Glaze Cirque du Soleil Worlds Away Collection. I love how densely packed the glitter is in this polish- I have on only two coats, Poshe base coat, and Sally Hansen Insta-Dri top coat.

Messy Jessi Lacquer - House Wren

Hey, guys! I hope you're all doing well. Today I am wearing  House Wren by Messy Jessi Lacquer. I was extremely bummed that I missed out on the Illamasqua Speckled Nail Varnishes, so when I saw Messy Jessi Lacquer on Instagram I jumped! You can purchase her nail polishes here. I applied 3 coats here, but I think next time I'll just use one coat over a pink polish. Topped with Poshe base coat and Sally Hansen Insta-Dri top coat.

Emily de Molly It's Complicated

Hey, guys! I have on a gorgeous indie nail polish today. This is It's Complicated by Emily de Molly, which I purchased from Shoppe Eclecticco. They have beautiful indie nail polish from brands like Emily de Molly, Femme Fatale, Gloss 'n Sparkle, Hare, Crows Toes, and many more. It's great because you can find so many hard-to-find polishes all in one place. I highly recommend checking them out. I'm so happy with my order that I'm already thinking about what to order next! For this mani I applied 3 coats of polish and for a smooth finish: one coat of Poshe base coat and one coat of Sally Hansen Insta-Dri top coat.
